ABOUT KIM

I was lucky enough to start roping at an early age, I absolutely love to rope! I couldn’t image doing anything else with my time. I have the burning desire and the passion to be the best!

I’ve spent countless hours watching DVDs, going to roping schools, improving my horsemanship, and putting in the massive amount of time in the practice pen. Through God’s grace and hard work, I have had the opportunity to win at some of the biggest ropings in the country.

I am blessed with an amazing husband, Jake, who also ropes, and our son Grady. Jake and I have been lucky enough to win some ropings together. But there isn’t anything better than getting to do what you love with your spouse.

I currently work full time as Instructional Coach at Lewis & Clark Elementary School in Caldwell, ID. Working full time makes getting to the practice pen a little more difficult, but we just make it happen. When you set your goals, you must do whatever it takes to achieve them.

I have to give a huge shout out to my sponsors for helping me along my journey. I’ve been blessed enough to use some of the best products in the team roping world. I encourage you to take a look at my sponsor’s page. The next time you are out shopping please keep them in mind.

Take Care and God Bless,

Kim Grubbs
